Chef Charles has written a new cookbook, Cooking Easy 101, that is designed to be helpful to cooks of all skill levels. The book has many great features such as an easy to read index of items contained in the book, a thirty-eight page section of helpful tips to make cooking easy and a real pleasure, entrées with three suggested menus of how to use them, a space for you to make notes, and a space for you to add recipes. The book also has recipes that you have actually heard of, but may have not been able to find, or thought they were too hard to prepare. The cookbook has 39 entrées, 117 suggested menus, many vegetable recipes, salads, salad dressings, glazes, bread, and dessert recipes. Unlike most cookbooks, the book is a convenient size so that you may take it to the grocery store to purchase what is needed for the recipe, without having to write down all of the ingredients. Chef Charles talks you through each recipe, as if he were right there with you in the kitchen. He tells you what items you will need to prepare the dish and, in most cases, when to turn on the oven to begin pre-heating it. Cooking Easy 101 is a real joy to use and you will find that it will be the most important book in your kitchen, and that you will probably use it on a daily basis. As part of the original three items, Chef Charles has included a two pocket apron that is very helpful because of its length. It will give you great protection for your clothes during the entire cooking process, and, it even looks so good you may want to serve your guests while wearing it. The Black baseball style Chef's hat is one of the best on the market today, and because it is so well made, it will last a long time.
